A US national is among three hostages set to be released by Hamas as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel.
On Friday, Abu Obeida, the Hamas military spokesperson, announced on Telegram that Israeli-American Keith Siegel would be freed on Saturday, along with Yarden Bibas and Ofer Kalderon.
Siegel, 65, was taken hostage with his wife, Aviva, and appeared in a Hamas video last year. Aviva Siegel was released in November 2023 during the first hostage-for-prisoner exchange.
