A medical jet crash in Northeast Philadelphia set multiple rowhomes on fire near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, fire officials confirmed.
Plane debris hit several cars in the area. Businesses near Roosevelt Mall are also on fire. Debris was found as far as Tyson Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard.

Emergency Response and Road Closures
Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management (OEM) shared a photo of the crash scene.
Road closures include:
- Cottman Avenue between Roosevelt Boulevard and Bustleton Avenue.
- Outer southbound lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard.
- Officials urge residents and drivers to avoid the area.
Residents Felt Their Homes Shake
People in the neighborhood reported their homes shaking as the plane crashed.
A 10-year-old boy described seeing blinking lights falling from the sky before impact.
Jimmy Weis, a local driver, said his daughter panicked after hearing about the crash and checked if he was safe.
Investigation Underway
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
The status of the injured victims is still unknown.
